My concern is that, since I typically enjoy the ranger-type class in MMOs, I will wish to create a ranger when that class is released but won't because I will have put in so much time/money into progressing a class that was available at release.

it will only be added as a class to create :/ You will have to restart a whole new character thats a ranger.

Okay, thought so, just checking. It's too bad I'd have to lose all of my achievements and reputation to play a class I like, but I guess there's no way to solve that. Let's hope I like the templar :)

Oh, the news about the Runemaster is interesting! I remember the Runemaster in Dark Age of Camelot (DAoC), probably the best MMORPG I have played. The Runemaster was a class for the realm of Midgard, and it was a damage-dealer, with some spells of debuff, root or snare, and some others of buff for his group/party and himself. Damage spells did include DD, AOE, GTAOE. Here is a link with characteristics and spells: http://darkageofcamelot.com/content/class-library-runemaster

Bye!

Bone dancer in daoc gives me tons of fun as i command my own band of armies. Any chance of adding that class to the game?

Please help me fill the blanks of the following class: Big green Orc, tight chain mail body suit, duel wield(fist weapon), group running spell, sonic blast as in minstrel in daoc

Rune Master idea is not finished yet but we plan it to have rune stones with different functions, will be healer/range dps but also rune stones could buff party, de-buff enemies, heal for small amount or even damage enemies in range.

With the rune master can it be more like a Druid in WoW because I would really like to have something like that in the game if that is possible
