yes it works. Kind of hard to tell though, with the way mobs warps to their real position when pulled. But I tested it a lot and they seemed to slow down with the buff on them.

Lvl 6: Create Staples, Infernal Dispersion, Blazing Barrage (next level)

I just got these three spells at lvl 5

Now those spells are learned at level 5. We changed levels for many spells so they are now available 1 level sooner.

Is description at trainer changed already for lower levels?

For reference:

a) 1 new mage channeled spell with in-combat mana regeneration: Etherform (at char level 20) . It regenerates 55% mage base mana over X second with long cool down. Moving or taking damage breaks channeling of this spell.

b) Shimmershock - spell level 3 (at char level 14), spell level 4 (at char level 20)

c) Foulsome Shift - spell level 2 (at char level 20)

d) Blazing Barrage - spell level 3 (at char level 12), spell level 4 (at char level 18), spell level 5 (at char level 24)

e) Shimmershard Guard - spell level 3 (at char level 20)

f) Elder Spirit - spell level 2 (at char level 14)

g) Infernal Dispersion - spell level 2 (at char level 14)

h) Eldershock Bolts - spell level 2 (at char level 16), - spell level 3 (at char level 24)

i) Create Earthsea - spell level 3 (at char level 20)

j) Create Staples - spell level 2 (at char level 12), spell level 2 (at char level 22)

I've not had a chance to try out all of the new spells yet given the spell interface (lack of) scrolling issue, but started a bit last night:

  1. Iceshard Conduct 1: Moderate casting time/CD (easily interrupted if you are already in melee range), causes slight damage to creatures in a small area and stuns for about 5 seconds. Any damage appears to break the stun.
  2. Flickerstrike 2: Almost instant casting time, no CD, takes a small amount of mana but doesn't appear to do anything.
  3. Exorcise: Almost instant casting time, no CD, takes a small amount of mana but doesn't appear to do anything.
  4. Iceguard: Appears to be a short-duration self-buff, appears to last about 25 seconds? Instant cast, can be recast when effect wears off. What the actual effect is, I can't tell.
  5. Snow Dervish: Doesn't appear functional at all, takes no mana.
  6. Ethereal Heap: Doesn't appear functional at all, takes no mana.
  7. Casting Ricochet: Almost instant cast with moderate CD, but doesn't appear to have any effect when cast on self or critters. Have not tried yet against opposing spellcaster.

I'll update more as I'm able to test/experiment.

I have the same results as you with all of these spells so: Confirmed.

As for icegaurd, I pulled about 40 snails and wolfs, Turned icegaurd on and I never took any damage at all so I suppose it's a defensive spell.

We can test some spells out on eachother such as ricochet later if you wish, I get home in about six hours.

You may way with testing spell until new build. We discover today (and is alredy fixed) that some spell IDs mixed.

Can't make new build unless spell windows is finished so I suggest to wait for new build with further spell testing
