@Admin All players should be notified that this is a beta and that a reset was planned/maybe still is, Which is extremely important before they start playing and purchasing experience potions.

Im with hex stick to the plan and send out a newsletter on it and make a thread specifically for the purpose of informing new members

+1.

I would also ask them to come here and actually vote/comment so we might get a better opinion on the people we are trying not to alienate

Also, I believe the poll expires too soon, make it Three days long instead of -24 hrs, So that someone who is busy for just one day doesn't miss one of the most important polls the community has been given.

@Hex - in real live it is impossible task. How much obvious it could get when the title of the game says beta? and there is info everywhere. True is that most ignore any text.

We will see what community will tell but all look how small number of total votes is submit for such and important poll.

We sent email to all who has account (about 6700) and there are 30 votes total. This is clear that majority people don't pay attention to whatever we try to tell them.

Of those 6700, 926 are fresh new account made for open beta and all of those people had to get it from forum so they know about forum existence.

When you read previous discussion thread about it, you can see that even some active forum member did not read that reset was planned.

When google play crowd hit how we suppose to make sure they understand.

So when you think about it reality here is how it might look for beta reset:

group a - people paying attention (minority). Learn that beta spend 30 minuted in game, wait for release, spend 0 on Mithril

group b - people not paying attention (majority). Play normally until they learn there is reset planned - result rage quit and flaming

To be honest what most worry me is that there are only 30 votes.

Decision must be made today or tomorrow at the latest.

Poll will end automatically and we will see how community feel about it.

I agree admin, It's extremely obvious-

Then if players do not know that there is a reset and that this is a beta, It is their own fault and should not cause a problem Or make fuss if a reset occurs.

Those are some real good points admin. I see how your worry is the majority of people don't really listen they just want to play. In fact the real feed back you get is only from about 100 people. I guess when FW comes out I will start a few other characters so I can enjoy the game content that you guys added.

Hex you bring up some real good points and is the reason I vote for a reset, but the admin is right we are just the minority. Wish others took time to read before getting mad. The Dev team and admin can only do so much to inform the public just to hope they are listening.

Alright I have changed my opinion, it wouldn't have been a big loss for me to start over with faction wars, but keeping in mind that really only a few people read the forum, it might not be such a good idea to reset. Maybe you can only reset gold and equipment?

After I read all the interesting posts I decided to vote for a total reset. As most of you stated already everyone knows it was beta and if they had looked to the forums they knew reset was coming.

Its Pity there are only a few active forum users (luckily very good ones) and like you said 30 votes for the 6000 people registered it's a "shame".

Btw I don't think the rage quitters, flamers and the trolls are going to buy much mithril they just try it out for a week and have fun making others mad and then leave forever.

The ones who support this game are the active forum users? They have patience they know whats happening and what is going to happen there are of course other members too but I think u get it.

And I like a wipe too but after apple and android can play together to make it even.
