Haha! What a year! After finally landing a job I've been seeking for some time, the company I had become employed with earlier this year has announced today that it is closing its doors at most of the locations in the United States, including the Cedar Rapids facility where I work. Due to me being a family guy, the sizable income that job had furnished was rather necessary... and now needs replaced.

Unfortunately, replacing said income requires that I take two jobs until I can find reputable work elsewhere (and these days, realistically, that can take anywhere from 6-9 months.)

So I am very sad to say that I must part ways from my time with gaming in order to do what I must for my family.

I have brought along many friends here, and have made many more and I value each of you for your depth of input, and love for the game.

Eternity's torch lives on. I'm hoping those who are active will continue to honor its traditions and fun in gaming.

I'll be here on these forums for the next few days. I found a replacement first shift job, but my second shift job won't start until Thursday.

Just wanted to give everyone heads up. I'm hoping to join you once again before the year's out.

Hey brotha, thanks for the kind words. I will be back, but after some hard work and pulling a few (hundred) strings. I'm sure you'll see me chill here on the forums a few times, in the mean time, catching up on all the zillions of little details that I'll be missing out on.

I'd say go easy on the Eternity peeps that will linger behind but I have this feeling Rit is going to be turning them into equine-killing machines. xD

Keep me up to date on the major milestones of development will ya? I'll have a hard enough time just keeping up with the local news... xD

Really sucks for you to have found and lost you favorite company. I have a feeling Pat is coming back slowly as I see him more and more and we'll take care of your guildlies in the meantime... heck maybe even you when you decide to login and check the progress.
